YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY — DJ AMK, known for his internet radio show “AMK IN THE NIGHT” here on BlogTalkRadio, has officially signed back with Freecast (freecast.co.uk), a free Shoutcast radio website.

“This is the happiest day in my 2 years as an on-air personality,” says the 22-year-old AMK, who currently attends Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York, as a Communications student. “I never should have left Freecast in the first place, it was alot of fun broadcasting on there. I have to admit I currently dislike BlogTalkRadio’s quality in their broadcasts, but now that I’m back on Freecast, my listeners will be able to enjoy great-quality shows from me. Trust me, you’re in for a big surprise when I host my first show on Freecast.”

But for now, DJ AMK will still be hosting his BlogTalkRadio show until the end of 2008. “The current plan is for me to close out the year on BlogTalkRadio. Once the new year begins, every one of my listeners and friends will know my fate here on BlogTalkRadio.”

“This will be a great addition to the AMK Studios family,” says Kaplan, who now refers to himself as DJ AMK on BlogTalkRadio. “We have established ourselves on BlogTalkRadio, so why not re-establish ourselves on the AMK Studios website? This time, it’s live and for real.”

It’s now official.

Our Internet radio show, “AMK Studios Live”, has officially been moved over to Thursday nights at 8PM ET on our Blog Talk Radio page, which is blogtalkradio.com/amkstudios.

“Our Wednesday nights were getting too congested ever since I joined a bowling league two Wednesdays ago, so hopefully this move will help bring the fans back to tuning in every week,” said AMK Studios President Andrew Kaplan. “We are still going to have the same format as we did on Wednesday nights, and of course the same great music. But like I said, it’s a new night, and Thursdays work out better for me.”
